Developing Practice | Workshop with John Meade
This five-day intensive, facilitated by Melbourne artist John Meade, is designed for visual artists that are seeking the opportunity to work within a peer context to establish critical discussions around their art practice. The workshop will look at extending our understanding of what constitutes an ‘art practice’, and of ways to create a model where the dialogue established in the workshop can be sustained post-event.
The Rockhampton Art Gallery is pleased to partner with The Victorian Centre of The Arts to provide this small group workshop designed to assist artists in the development of their practice. This workshop has grown and developed from a previous workshop offering "Master Tutorial | with Jon Cattapan" which was held in 2018, and aims to continue to build on concepts, skills and knowledge that will enable artists to expand and extend their practice.
