Learning

Rockhampton Art Gallery provides a space to create, make and play while guided by our experienced artist educators. Activities complement the Gallery's exhibition program as well as the permanent collection. Through artist facilitated learning and a creative skills based education program we aim to ignite imagination, inspire curiosity and provoke new ways of thinking about the world we live in.

Lifelong Learning | ENGAGEing through ARTing

ENGAGEing through ARTing is a creative development program, focused on aging community needs across the spectrum of creative participation, learning and social interaction with Rockhampton Art Gallery.

School Tours

Secure a spot in your class schedule for a trip to the Rockhampton Art Gallery and take advantage of our FREE School Tours.

Workshop Activities

Our workshop activities are designed to give opportunities for creative expression and encourage fresh learning experiences. Workshops can be tailored to meet your specific class needs.

Professional Learning

Nourish your love of art and choose one of our accredited professional learning events to invigorate your teaching practice.

Educators Resources

Make your lesson planning easier with these educational resources. These resources can be used pre or post visiting the gallery. The resources have been selected to complement the Australian Curriculum with a focus on knowledge and skills (representation, practices and viewpoints).
