Waste Reeducation Artist Projects
Rockhampton Regional Waste and Recycling is seeking local artists and skilled professionals to help roll out a range of waste reduction initiatives. If you have experience in outdoor art, landscaping sculptures, upcycling and/or art workshop facilitation, we would like to hear from you. All works are commission based and are required to achieve educational and environmentally sustainable outcomes.

Opportunities Available:

Heritage Village Antique Fair, Sunday 2nd June 2019. Applications close 9am Tuesday 7th May
Facilitators required for workshops using upcycled materials to create an antique themed item
Artisan and crafts people required to demonstrate craft while selling their antique/upcycled wares

Regional Waste Transfer Stations community murals project, 2019
Mural painter required to teach & coordinate local school students in public art design and paint their local Waste Transfer Station with an outdoor mural to communicate recycling practices.
