Rockhampton Art Gallery is seeking creative design proposals for the fabrication of one interactive and aesthetically pleasing indoor donation bin.

The donation bin is to encourage interaction and repeated use through the use of movement, sound and/or light.

Rockhampton Art Gallery it looking for artists, artisans, industrial designers, fabricators to design and fabricate an interactive donation bin that encourages repeated use via trigger responses from engagement. The design and fabrication needs to consider a variety of audience demographics and accessibility.

Artists, artisans, industrial designers, fabricators are both traditional and contemporary, who can design and fabricate a 3 dimensional freestanding form.

Artists, artisans, industrial designers, fabricators will be paid an artist fee of $1,000. This fee is inclusive of all artist fees, materials and transport of the work to Rockhampton Art Gallery.
